We are big fans of a tipi full of amazing wedding flowers and always love working with Heather at Living Colour Flowers. Heather dresses our open days at Delamere with stunning wedding flowers and we just love her work. She is currently offering an amazing 10% off anyone booking wedding flowers by 31st December when quoting ‘All About Me’ too!**
So as we head into 2018 we asked Heather for her top predictions for the hottest floral wedding trends in 2018 for amazing tipi weddings. All these images feature her gorgeous flowers.
Country Garden, Fine Art and Foliage
If you have your heart set on a pretty spring/summer wedding with gorgeous pale blooms and foliage, I think we’ll see some soft purples mixed in this year with soft sage greens and silk ribbon accents on bouquets. This looks so beautiful and is a versatile style which look amazing with or without white linen, either on long or round tables in the tipis. You can go for simple glass vases with little buds or amazing high vase arrangements or table top trees with foliage, blooms and hanging candles. This look works all year round but that pretty country garden feel is really perfect for spring right through to late summer in the tipis.

Spring/Summer Festival Bright Wedding Flowers
I always love working with couples who want to go bright, even tropical with their flowers. We are totally blessed in the UK with access to some of the most beautiful spring flowers which look amazing in a tipi setting. As well as pretty table centres filled with spring blooms, brightly coloured glass tea light holders, you can also have sweet potted spring flowers lining the paths up to the tipi, with crates stacked with lots of pretty bottles filled with blooms. They look amazing with a festival vibe tipi wedding.

West Coast Boho
If you are going for a bit of a boho feel for your wedding, we are seeing lots and lots of west coast USA influences coming into wedding flowers. This is very exciting as it’s a really new look to weddings. Gorgeous pampas grass mixed in with florals, cacti and succulents are going to be big news. Teamed with details like rattan 70’s peacock chairs, dreamcatchers, feathers and macramé details, all look totally epic in a tipi. A look for the very cool modern couple.

Foliage, Foraged and White Blooms
Foliage and greenery has been massive this year and it’s only going to go from strength to strength in S/S and A/W 2018. It works beautifully in a tipi setting and can be quite relaxed and bohemian with single stems, moss runners, feathers and vintage elements like pottery bottles, vintage glass bottles and candlesticks. With tall white candles and white in the blooms, it packs a real elegant authentic punch in the tipi setting and looks just perfect.
Nordic Vibes
As 2018 heads into the autumn and winter, you can make the tipis really cozy with a bit of hygge vibe. The whole scandi influence in wedding flowers is still going strong and think the tipis are perfect for that look. Lots of lovely candlelight mixed in with this year’s purple tone pantone colour ultra violet in the blooms, would be a great way to put a spin on the whole cozy vibe. Grab some blankets for guests and cozy round the open fire.
