The kata style tipi looked amazing even before all the little details had been added, and the yurt for getting ready was very cosy inside!
All hands were busy putting finishing touches to the day, including Juliet from Thoughtful Flowers – amazing seasonal British flowers, which were just the thing for this rustic wedding. Clare and bridesmaids got ready between the farmhouse and then on to the yurt, which did get a little hot in the stunning September sunshine! The boys threw on their suits in the farmhouse, having just finished preparing the tipi… well done lads!
Clare and Ian had done all the legal stuff the day before, but this was their ‘real’ wedding day with a perfect outdoor ‘humanist’ ceremony performed by the celebrant. Leaving under a shower of confetti, and taking a few moments alone together as Mr & Mrs whilst walking down Schypwll’s wildlife corridor.
Pimm’s and canapés in glorious sunshine, badminton and kite flying, exactly as you’d imagine a chilled-out, outdoor wedding day 🙂 Into the evening out came the balloons and candles to light the field, a definite festival feel
