We know we’re having a bit of a heat wave but it doesn’t matter to us what the weather does outside, it’s always perfect for a Tipi event. We work all year round. The Tipis can be used all year round, they are manufactured by clever chaps and lasses over in Sweden and are made to withstand anything the clouds can throw at them.. should they need to!
What is it Like Holding a Tipi Event in the Autumn or Winter?
Pretty amazing actually! We often get asked but wont it be cold? Not at all, we have heaters that can warm the tipi’s, cosy fire pits to heat the space, toast marshmallows and create atmosphere and gorgeous barn doors and window inserts that can be put up to bring the outdoors in, whilst you know…keeping it outdoors! So lovely and toasty inside all year round.
We can work with you to make the space flow and keep all the elements undercover or if the weather is fine (October and March in particular can be VERY warm!) make use of the outside too, with hay bales, fire pits, cozy blankets and reindeer pelts. We’ve just announced our next Autumn Open Weekend dates, taking place 27th, 28th and 29th of October at Delamere Events, Cheshire. We’ll be there all weekend and you can come down and see the Tipis for yourselves.

Sophie and Chris’s Charming December Tipi Wedding
Now you know a little more, here are a few images of a real December Wedding to give you a little inspiration for your own Autumn/Winter Wedding or event. Sophie and Chris had a lovely ceremony, before transporting all their guests by big red vintage double decker bus to Delamere Events for their Tipi celebrations.
They had gorgeous roaring fire pits, a fantastic wedding breakfast, a huge dance floor and live band to entertain their guests, a sparkler fan fare, finished off with a breathtaking fireworks display over the lake. Stunning!
