Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! It’s a great day for popping the question. So if you are newly engaged you’ll probably be looking for an amazing venue for your big day. Maybe a stunning, award winning Tipi? Why not come along and see our amazing Tipis, all dressed beautifully to inspire you at our Spring Open Weekend this March.
When is the Open Weekend?
The Open weekend is taking place Friday 10th, Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th March 2017 and we’d love to see you there.
The open weekend starts on the Friday the 10th of March where you will find us from 2pm till 9pm in the evening. So you can pop down after work too. We love having the Tipi’s open after dark on the Friday, as you can see how these amazing structures change from a beautiful daytime venue to unbelievable twinkly party space at night.
If you can’t join us on the Friday we are of course showcasing our breathtaking Tipi’s all day over the weekend, where you can join us anytime between 10-5pm on both Saturday and Sunday the 11-12th March too. The All About ME team will be on hand throughout the weekend to answer your questions about the Tipi’s, along with some of our favourite wedding and events suppliers too.
What will be at the Open Weekend?
We’ll welcome you with a glass of bubbly or hot drink, an All About ME goody bag and let you just have a walk around and look at the space. If you’ve booked in to speak to one of the team, we’ll take a seat and talk through some ideas.
We will be setting up three of our Stratus 72 (Giant Hat Tipis) along with the smaller Cirrus 40 ( chill out tipi) to create an amazing space. We will also have our brilliant Pagoda bar area tent too.
We dress the tipis for a wedding reception, with the help of some of our recommended wedding suppliers, so that you can see what they look like for yourself. We like to keep on top of the latest trends as well as the popular favourites and so dress the tipis to inspire you and give you lots of ideas for the big day.
We will have the tipis set out with different layouts so you can get a feel for the space. For the more laid back set up we’ll have our long tables which you can have with either bench seats or one of the different chair styles. We’ll also showcase round table settings with chairs, so you can see how versatile a space the Tipi’s are.
There will be the chill out zone with bean bags, comfy seating, the bar area, dance floor, catering area too and of course the ‘mashmallow toasting station’, more commonly referred to as the open fires!
Outside we also have an example of our glamping village, as well as our new and very popular ‘Ceremony Tipi’ with views over the lake.
Do I need to book to come along?
It’s totally free to come along and you don’t need to book to come and see the tipis for yourself, but we do recommend booking a slot in advance with the team if you’d like to talk through your plans. We love to chat through your wedding and event ideas too and by booking in we can make sure we answer any questions you might have about the tipis and also if you want, so we can swiftly send you over a personalised quote to look at together at home.

Where is it taking place?
Delamere Event’s in Cheshire is the location for our Spring Open Weekend. It is a beautiful sheltered spot, over looking it’s own private lake ‘Cherry Orchard Lake’. The location is a dedicated spot for Tipi and Marquee weddings and events and has the benefit of lots of great facilities such as power, water and parking on site should you be looking for a venue. Of course, you can have the Tipis anywhere you like and we can help you with all the logistics and suggestions for venues too.
